 What kinds of ads are served by the CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange?

CONTEXTWEB serves graphical, rich media, expandable ads, text, and video ads.

 Can I work with the CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange and Google AdSense and other Ad Networks?

Yes, our AskPrice and PerformancePrice technology relies on you working with additional ad networks to make money most effectively and improve your overall revenue. You should use an ad network as a destination of your back up tag.

 Can I work with CONTEXTWEB and a display advertising network like Tribal Fusion or Burst?

Yes, our AskPrice technology relies on you working with ad networks to make money most effectively. You should use a network like Tribal Fusion or Burst as the destination of your CONTEXTWEB backup tag.

 How do I log into my account?

Go to https://exchange.contextweb.com/AccountMgmt/Login.aspx and enter your username and password.

 Do I have to sign a contract with you?

There are terms of agreement that outline the relationship between CONTEXTWEB and your organization that you must agree to before working with us. There are no requirements for exclusivity or minimum impressions you must sell or buy. You can start and stop participation at any time.

 What are the different size ads that I can place on my site?

CONTEXTWEB offers these standard IAB sizes:
728x90 Leaderboard
300x250 Medium Rectangle
120x600 Skyscraper
160x600 Wide Skyscraper

 What is PerformancePrice?

The PerformancePrice lets buyers on the CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange to compete and attempt to beat your back-up tag eCPM when advertisers can't meet your AskPrice. This will help publishers improve their fill rates and earn more money. Just provide CONTEXTWEB with the amount (eCPM) you are making on your back-up tags or provide your user login and password to have it automatically updated.
To enable the PerformancePrice, simply update your back-up tags for all your active ad tags with their eCPM information or provide your ad network credentials if they are one of the networks participating on the CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange.

 What are the other Ad Networks on the CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange?

The CONTEXTWEB Ad Exchange is open to third party ad networks. This allows us to generate a higher demand for our publishers’ inventory, thereby increasing revenue. You are automatically eligible to work with these ad networks. 
Each ad network has gone through a thorough vetting process to ensure that their ads will meet our quality criteria. Additionally, publishers have the ability to block any and/or all of these ad networks if they so choose.

 What is the payment schedule?

Publisher invoices are created on the last day of each month and paid net 45 days from the creation of the invoice. 
For all revenue incurred from third party ad networks, publishers will be paid after CONTEXTWEB has received payments from each ad network.

AD BLOCKING QUESTIONS

 What is the CONTEXTWEB Ad Blocking toolbar?

Publishers can monitor and block ads directly from their sites with the CONTEXTWEB ad blocking toolbar. The toolbar is a Mozilla Firefox extension that allows publishers to block any paid ads coming from CONTEXTWEB on their approved domains. This gives publishers a greater control on the quality of ads though our exchange. Just remember, blocking an ad, will block that advertiser from all your sites.

 How can I block a certain type/group of ad?

Publishers can block ads on a variety of types. To access this feature, navigate to My Preferences and view the "Block By Ad Type" section. Select any and all ad types you choose to block from all your sites. Please keep in mind that blocking ads in such a manner can result in sharp changes to your revenue.

REPORTING QUESTIONS

 What is the Account Management Report?

The Account Management Report is the main management dashboard. Here users can see the critical metrics needed to help determine appropriate AskPrice based on Fill Rate, Revenue, and Paid Impressions.
To view more detailed reports, click on the name of an Ad Tag Group or Ad Tag. This will provide you with a detailed management screen for that Ad Tag or Group.

 What is the Block Recently Served Ads Report?

The Block Recently Served Ads Report displays all ads that have been served within the past 7 days. You may choose to block any ads that you don't wish to serve on your site again. The calculator on the side of the page will give you an estimate in terms of lost revenue from the specific advertiser if you select not to show the ads.

 What is the Blocked Ads Report?

Within the Block Ads Report, you are able to view all ads that were served on your site previously that you have decided to block. You have the ability to unblock any ads that you now wish to serve on your site

 What is the Impression Categories Report?

The Impressions Categories Report lets you view how many paid impressions you served within the various categories for your AskPrice.

 What is the Impression Domain Report?

The Impression Domain Report shows you which domain names are receiving impressions for specific Ad Tags and Ad Tag Groups.

 What is the Backup Impressions Served Report?

The Backup Impressions Served Report displays how many impressions are being sent to various Backup Tags that are assigned to specified Ad Tags.

 What is the Ad Tag Price History?

The Ad Tag Price History report enables you to view the daily effective CPM for a specific Ad Tag.
